Terms and Conditions
The signs are made of steel and the design is printed on them, often with a 'vintage look'. The plates are intended for use in the home as decoration against the wall. The signs can also be used under a solid sheltered veranda. The signs are not resistant to (extreme) weather conditions such as continuous UV radiation (bright sun), wind and rain. Due to weather influences, and in particular a lot of UV sunlight, color differences can occur over time. Discolored signs can therefore not be taken back.
Article 1. Offers/agreements
1.1 All offers from 'Signs USA' are without obligation and 'Signs USA' expressly reserves the right to change prices, speciﬁcations, texts and images, in particular when this is necessary on the basis of (legal) regulations.
1.2 An agreement is only concluded after acceptance of your order by 'Signs USA'. 'Signs USA' is entitled to refuse orders or to attach certain conditions to the delivery, unless explicitly stated otherwise. If an order is not accepted, 'Signs USA' will communicate this within ten (10) working days after receipt of the order.
Article 2. Prices and payments
2.1 The stated prices for the products and services offered are in euros, including VAT and excluding any payment, handling and shipping costs, unless stated or agreed otherwise.
2.2 Payment must be made in advance without discount or compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Payment can be made in (one of) the manner(s) as indicated during the ordering process.
2.4 If the prices for the products and services offered fall in the period between the order and its execution, you can send us an email regarding the order. Primarily, a refund will be made for the amount of the price change in question or you can choose to cancel the order or dissolve the agreement within (7) days after notification of the price change by 'Signs USA'. All this at the discretion of the management of 'Signs USA'. The customer cannot claim any decision.
2.5 Orders can only be canceled within a period of 7 days after ordering (the so-called cooling-off period) by means of a personal email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating the order number and the customer details known to 'Signs USA'. The cancellation of the order will then be processed by 'Signs USA' and you will receive written confirmation (automated mail) of the cancellation.
2.6 If the customer, hereinafter referred to as the Client, has indicated that they wish to use a bank transfer for payment of the order and payment for the order is not made, the Client is held and therefore responsible for payment of the outstanding invoice. The client will take care of the payment of the order, without 'Signs USA' having to take any action. 'Signs USA' will, in the absence of payment within a period of 7 days after ordering, send the client a reminder. If payment is not made again, 'Signs USA' will be entitled to charge administration costs of € 12.50. If payment of the order and the administration costs has not been made within 5 days after the reminder, '
Article 3. Delivery
3.1 The delivery times stated by 'Signs USA' are only indicative. Exceeding any delivery term does not entitle you to compensation or the right to cancel your order or to dissolve the agreement, unless the exceeding of the delivery term is such that you cannot reasonably be expected to maintain the agreement. In that case you are entitled to cancel the order or to dissolve the agreement insofar as this is necessary.
3.2 Cancellation of the order must be made in writing by the client. If 'Signs USA' has already incurred costs in connection with the assignment - for example transport costs and/or cash on delivery costs - these may be passed on in full to the client. There is a cancellation if the goods delivered cash on delivery are refused on the day of delivery without a valid reason.
Article 4. Intellectual and industrial property rights
4.1 You must fully and unconditionally respect all intellectual and industrial property rights pertaining to the products supplied by 'Signs USA'.
4.2 The intellectual property rights in this site are owned by 'Signs USA' or its licensors. The user of this site is prohibited from copying, modifying, selling, licensing, reproducing and/or disclosing in whole or in part the contents of the site without the express written permission of 'Signs USA' .
Article 5. Complaints and liability
5.1 You are obliged to inspect upon delivery whether the products comply with the agreement in your opinion. If this is not the case, you must inform 'Signs USA' of this as soon as possible and in any event within seven (7) working days after delivery, or at least after observation was reasonably possible, in writing and stating reasons.
5.2 If it has been shown that the products do not comply with the agreement, 'Signs USA' has the choice to replace the products in question with new products against their return or to refund the invoice value thereof.
5.3 If you do not wish to purchase a product for any reason whatsoever, you have the right to return the product to 'Signs USA' within fourteen (14) working days after delivery. In this case, returns will only be accepted if the packaging of the product is undamaged, whereby the costs for returning are also for your account.

Article 6. Force majeure
6.1 Without prejudice to its other rights, 'Signs USA' has the right in case of force majeure, at its own discretion, to suspend the execution of your order or to dissolve the agreement without judicial intervention, by written notice to you. and without 'Signs USA' being obliged to pay any compensation, unless this would be unacceptable in the circumstances according to standards of reasonableness and fairness.
6.2 Force majeure is understood to mean any shortcoming that cannot be attributed to 'Signs USA', because it is not due to its fault and cannot be held accountable by law, legal act or generally accepted standards.
Article 7. Miscellaneous
7.1 If one or more of the provisions of these terms and conditions or any other agreement with 'Signs USA' should conflict with any applicable law, the relevant provision will be superseded and replaced by a provision to be determined by 'Signs USA'. establish new legally permissible comparable provision.
7.2 'Signs USA' is authorized to use third parties in the fulfillment of your order(s).
7.3 The Terms will survive in the event of a change of name, legal form or ownership in whole or in part of Signs USA. 7.4 Should 'Signs USA' transfer an agreement concluded with a client to a third party, the client will already give permission for this in advance.
Article 8. Applicable law and competent court
8.1 All rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these Terms and Conditions apply, as well as these Terms and Conditions, are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
'Signs USA' takes your privacy very seriously. The confidentiality and protection of your personal data are a matter of course for us. We appreciate the trust you place in us and will take the utmost care to protect your data as well as possible. We treat your personal data strictly confidentially. We will never sell, rent or pass on your e-mail address, your name or other personal data to third parties, with the exception of third parties that are engaged in the execution of your order. The data you enter when creating an account will only be used by us to process your orders and for offers regarding our website.
All information, services or products that you find on this website may contain errors and may be subject to temporary interruption. While 'Signs USA' makes every effort to provide all information, services and products as accurately and error-free as possible, it cannot be held responsible for any errors, defects, loss of income or other damaging consequences resulting from the use of this website. 'Signs USA' disclaims all liability within the limits of Dutch law.
Items that are not damaged can be returned within 14 days of receipt. The purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days after receipt of the returned item, after specifying the IBAN account number. The costs of the return shipment are for the buyer's expense. Return shipments are at the buyer's risk. This means that Signs-USA is not liable for damage or loss of returned items. Therefore, always ask the post office for a tracking code and keep it safe. The following procedure applies for returning products:
1. You submit a request within your account at 'Signs USA' and fill in the electronic form with the information that is important for us to process the return request;
2. You will receive written confirmation (automated email) of your request from 'Signs USA';
3. The return slip or the information stated on it must be enclosed with the product in the packaging or are these clearly stated on the packaging;
4. After receipt, we will replace the product or refund the (partial) amount of the order in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions;
5. You must take care of the return costs and shipping yourself, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Packages without a return slip or indication of the necessary information cannot be processed and will unfortunately be refused;

- The article is, if reasonably possible, in the original packaging.
- We would like to ask you, if possible, to include the invoice (or a copy of that invoice) in the packaging.

Signs USA processes your personal data for the following purposes:

How long we keep personal data Signs USA does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use a retention period of 1 year.
Signs USA does not sell your information to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Signs USA remains responsible for these processing operations.

View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this yourself via the personal settings of your account. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request.
