Hot Rod

A hot rod is an old-timer (usually from the 1930s), which is converted into a show car. Usually a hotrod is not equipped with a bonnet, so the engine can be seen. They are also placed low to the ground and can achieve high speeds.

Hot rods are especially popular in the US, for which sometimes classic cars are used that are then fitted with V8 engines with superchargers. The most used car to make a hot rod is the Ford Deuce of 1932. This is the symbol of the hot rods.
